Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-2pm, Friday 9am-1pm
(Around 30 hours per week + overtime tbc)
Salary: Starting at £13.50 per hour
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food in a commercial kitchen environment
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Work effectively as part of a team and support kitchen leadership when required
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and hygienic
- Assist with stock control, food storage, and deliveries
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations clean and organised
- Help with storing food and checking stock levels
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Experience and skills Required
- Food Safety Level 2 qualification (minimum)
- At least 2–3 years’ experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Strong understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Reliable, organised, and able to work well under pressure
- Team player with good communication skills
