The post holder is the Inclusion and Community Engagement Manager (ICEM) for the North West Area. They provide specialist advice and expertise to the Chief Crown Prosecutor (CCP) Area Business Manager (ABM), advising and guiding senior managers at a strategic level regarding Public Confidence and Inclusion matters.
They will be responsible for developing and ensuring delivery of the Public Confidence and Inclusion strategy, including legislative compliance and a mainstreaming approach. They will also work closely with the Director of Strategy and Policy on related national initiatives. The postholder will support the delivery of the CPS 2025 Vision; CPS Values; Equality and Diversity Objectives; Community Engagement Standards, Casework Quality
Working with a high degree of autonomy, they will develop, deliver and evaluate an Area Public Confidence and Inclusion Strategy that supports the delivery of organizational objectives and CPS’ vision.
Establish and develop positive and constructive relationships with community partners and leaders throughout the Area as a key representative of the CPS.
The post holder will have the lead responsibility for ensuring the CPS effectively listens to communities to be able to deliver high quality casework and continuous improvement, providing feedback to HQ and communities.
