Finance Manager (Maternity cover)

Salary: £22,000 – £28,000 dependent on experience

Job Description

Chinuch UK was set up in May 2018 and is the voice of Charedi schools across England to Government. We are growing the team of people needed to support and strengthen our work with the Department for Education, political leaders and other government bodies.

The role is to provide maternity cover for the Finance Manager Role at Chinuch UK, the role will initially be remote working whilst our Manchester offices are under renovation.

Responsible for:

  • Day-to-day use of Quickbooks
  • Review and verification of invoices
  • Raising invoices and tracking prompt payment
  • Filing documents/invoices on digital system.
  • Monthly payroll/HR
  • Payment of bills/payroll
  • Reconciliation
  • End of year accounts
  • Preparation of budgets and management reports
  • Support with Fundraising and Grant Budget calculations

 

Experience and skills Required

  • Experience working within the Education sector.
  • Person of particular integrity and trust
  • Attention to detail and accurate
  • Bright and quick to grasp tasks
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise
  • IT Proficient on word/excel/outlook/quickbooks
  • Able to work independently
  • Good command of both spoken and written English
  • Respectful of the charity’s ethos

Other Details

12 month role (with possibility of extension)

3 month handover period (with 16hr weekly approx during handover)
