Finance Administrator

Job Description

Duties include:

  • Report directly to trustees
  • Work closely with senior management, particularly headteacher
  • Set up systems for collating and authorising changes to monthly payroll
  • Prepare data for monthly payroll
  • Make payments – purchases, payroll etc
  • Send invoices to local authorities and other funding bodies
  • Check bank statements/Chase payment of invoices
  • Prepare claim for nursery grants
  • Check bank statements/Chase payment of grants
  • Ensure all staff have contracts of employment
  • Provide trustees and senior staff with status reports e.g budgets income/expenditure, outstanding payments due from LA.
  • Outstanding fees due etc

Experience and skills Required

  • Quickbooks and/or Sage experience
  • Previous office experience preferable
  • Good IT skills
  • Efficient and capable
  • Organised and eye for detail
